ZOUK ISLAND FESTIVAL

ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

To support the making of the festival, there are important missions that will be assigned to certain positions. It takes love for Zouk, love for the community of Zouk Island, responsibility for the role you have been given, and teamwork spirit to deliver your part in synergy with the whole.

IS THIS FOR ME?

  1. Ownership: You act as the owner of the mission it was given to you. You protect it, you act proactively, and you take full responsibility for delivering with grace. This includes stating what you need to feel supported.

  2. Clarity on Communication: We are part of a team. We never assume the other person "should" know about something. Instead, we ask or say what we must to guarantee the other is aware of whatever we decide is important for the delivery of our assignment. There should never be doubt, when uncertain of something, we ask for clarity and support.

  3. Constructive Feedback: If you see something that can improve the Festival experience, you are called to share it with the person/group in charge of that. We use the power of collective intelligence to help us see details that as individuals we would otherwise miss. When receiving a feedback we take it as a precious gift and are committed to doing our utmost to see implemented.

WORK SCHEDULES

Different positions have different missions and working hours, but all volunteers will be able to experience the festival workshops and social evenings.

BENEFITS
